Brijesh Yadav, M.S.
M.S. Student
Research Topic
Brijesh's research is mainly focused on gut microbiota. The gut microbiota plays a critical role in regulating various metabolic processes in hosts. Recent studies have highlighted the potential of Faecalibacterium prausnitzii strain UT1 in facilitating the carbohydrate catabolic functions of the gut microbiome. Brijesh's study aims to explore further whether supplementing microbiota-accessible carbohydrates in combination with UT1 treatment, could lead to synergistic modulation of gut microbiome functions.
