The Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (GSBS) Alumni Mentoring Program builds bridges between current students and GSBS alumni, fostering networking, professional development, and career readiness. Together, students and alumni create meaningful connections that strengthen career pathways and advance the biomedical sciences community.

Eligibility

  • PhD Students: Year 3 and beyond
  • MS Students: After completion of the first semester
  • Alumni Mentors: Minimum of 3 years post-graduation

Program Expectations

  • Orientation: A required 1-hour session (live or recorded) to review roles, responsibilities, and policies
  • Meetings: Monthly (30–60 minutes) for 6 months, held virtually or in person
  • Communication: All interactions should be respectful, timely, and professional
  • Support: Program staff are available to provide guidance, resolve concerns, and re-match pairings if needed

Timeline

  • Applications Open: October 11
  • Deadline: November 15 (applications after this date will be considered for the following year)
  • Program Communications: ±·´Ç±¹±ð³¾²ú±ð°ù–D±ð³¦±ð³¾²ú±ð°ù
  • Mentor Match Day: January 15, 2026
  • Program Dates: January 15 – May 15, 2026
